Crystal Saga should be able to switch servers while maintaining the same character. Beginners that are just playing games like Crystal Saga may not pick the server they want.

If they are a beginner then changing servers would not be a big deal.
Characters are bound to their servers. If it was possible to change servers with your Character, then you would see players that have level 150 Eidolon Characters from servers over two years old moving to newer servers just so they can dominate the lower levels.
I see what you are saying though, if you just started playing, and you worked hard for two weeks on a character, but then realized that there are newer servers that would better match your character level, then it would be nice to just move the character over there.
Honestly though, if this were possible, then the list of bad things that could happen to all of the servers would be a mile long. Big cashers moving servers. Bullies moving servers. And like I mentioned before high level players moving servers for domination purposes.
