At level 15 you unlock enhancement which you will find at the forge. It requires gold and you unlock enhance bonuses for all enhance+30 and so on. Dont waste your gold unnecessarily for enhancements because you can still use them for other purchases an in game features and gold is an important tool. You can also refine but to lock refinements will require extra refining stones. You can socket and synthesize gems and you can also exchange things e.g gems, equipment, etc. You also fuse gems e.g lvl 7hp + pdef gem requires two lvl7 hp gems and two level7 pdef gems and 60 gem essence.
