Genesis chest skill with mage phoenix nirvana dragon soul skill do they work?

On my sorcerer i have both the genesis chest and of course my revival skill from dragon souls but i dont think the mages rev skill will ever activate with the genesis chest skill am i wrong? ive tryed like 60 fights and still hasnt gone off once i only ever get the 10% hp from the genesis chest

i think since the armor is 100% revive chance, it messes with the dragon skill, so you wont be able to revive with 35% health unless you get the upgraded Genesis Chest plate..this is why i dont have the chestplate on my sorcerer, i have it on my best hero berserker claw (im non casher so he's my best)

I have seen it work in ta and in regular battles on server. Mages have revived twice several times, once from armor and once from dragonsoul skill and its easy to tell which causes the revive based on how much hp they have when they revive.
