I got same problem as konjiki89 I got 10 'Valkyrie Crest' but no 'Valkyrie Crest Shard'.

You got crests instead of shards, which means you can automatically recruit the hero if you have the hero-souls.
It was a bug, and now it was fixed, be happy those who got the crests directly.

and yes thanks to crest/shard bug.....got Arcane spirit and still got 9 more if its crest and 130 more shards collected from earlier event. now what to do with it??.....can i recruit 9 arcane spirits ??? ......il make my party>main>wolf> and 4 arcane spirits

Issue: I exchange two time to get 10x2 valkyrie crest shard from HoC. And look what happen. I've 20 'Valkyrie Crest' with no 'Shard' on it. As I look at Forge menu and find out that the 'Valkyrie Crest' with no 'Shard' didn't count on 100 valkyrie crest shard. Meaning I got 0/100 to synth it. I've been reporting so many bug lately, from first from our opening server Exp Is Key, TA bug, Spring Carnival bug and to this. I just hope this report will solve this 'Valkyrie Crest' with no 'Shard'.

try to recruit her in tavern i had same problem with 30 valkyrie crests. when i tryed to recruit her it worked and i had 29 left

On S234, someone people are running into an issue where they have the crest but when you go into tavern, it says that you dont have the required item. Now I dont have enough topaz but others who do are still having the same issue. Edit: Just to show that its not the hero souls that is the issue, here is a pic of santa in tavern

All the heroes from Astral Tavern have a visual bug and do not show that you own a crest, but you can still recruit them if you have the required herosouls and the hero crest.
