Useless Items... Golden Dragon Eggs..

What are the Golden Dragon Eggs really for? I have them but never been able to use them. Are they useless items? I would like to know, if they are useless then why even have them in the first place...

wait to see what was planed, in worst case you will get option to trade it for some event in future
that makes me to ask what will be with divine war amblems? that was suposed to be long term event with not that bad rewards but it was canceled and that things was lefted in inventory, as well as holy keys (didnt event know i have them though) , is that event will come back or it is another thing that will stay in inventory and collect dusts?
