I am not getting a false positive from anti-virus, mine just simply shuts down now when i try to load a server. will let me log in, but will go no further.

Looks like another Windows 10 Flash update rolled out on 01/06/2016 fixed the mini-client crash.
If anyone still has the mini-client stopped working error check windows update, latest should be waiting to install and fixes the issue with some programs stopped working errors.
