Long story short, years ago I played LoA and used to buy the VIP subscription and I recently started playing again and renewed it the way I always did... afterwards I found out that one needs to use diamonds in-game and the original way was discontinued. Unfortunately the 6.99 was charged to my paypal and I'm wanting to get back the money that it charged. Can someone help with that?

You most likely will not get your money back, but you can ask support to provide corresponding number of diamons for sum you were charged.
