Glacial wolf inventory glitch

In my inventory it says that I only have 100 Glacial wolf soul shards but I should have 104, whats going on

they only cap at 99, so if you got 104 they should 99 and 5

How do you know you have 104 shards?

I know because I collected 2 Glacial wolf soul shard rewards from the Glacial wolf event, which ment that I got 4 Glacial wolf soul shards that day but they did not appear in my inventory
