How to get into the Indiv. Tourney and advance

I would love to get an explanation on how a player with barely 800k BR has near 2400 pts in the Indiv. Tourney after one day.

I have examined and studied the tourney layout for prelims the past three Indiv. Tourneys.

I was hosed out of the last IT due to a bug.

This time, same as the past three, I see my first tier full of players that are below my BR. The 2nd tier is full of players near my own BR. The third tier is full of
players who are around 200k greater than my BR. And the top tier has players that are near 2 mill or over in their BR.

And this seems to be how it is setup for everybody.

So how is anybody supposed to qualify for the Tournament - SHORT OF SPENDING DIAMONDS to bypass those you cannot defeat.

I have come QUITE A LONG ways in the past couple months, and yet I run into 1.3 mill BR noobs who could never defeat me in any aspect of the game, yet it is a miracle they get a win over me in the tourney. I compare stats, and they have NOTHING, and yet when I watch the battles, I have my ENTIRE PARTY while
they are reduced to 2 or 3 party members, and yet I get tagged with a LOSS ?????

How the @#$% is that explained. What do you change in the rules for Tourney that gives a win to somebody who would NEVER be able to defeat me in any part of the game, EVER ?????

If you are changing how the battles play out, changing the rules of the battles and who is determined the winner, why have you failed to inform your players?

I also cannot understand, if this is how you layout the tournaments prelim matchups, how any player is supposed to win all 10 of their battles and qualify for the tournament, fairly.

I examined the results of the previous tourney, and am watching this one very closely, and it appears to me this entire system is basically rigged.

If you want to participate in the tournament, you have to spend diamonds to qualify.

1) If there are 100+ folks willing to spend some diamonds, then you simply will not be able to qualify without spending diamonds yourself. It can feel unfair, but the CS Tournament is pretty much a spender-only event. The plus side is if you have a good team (able to beat your a-tier and s-tier regularly), you don't need to spend that much to get in yourself, maybe 200-300 diamonds a day. That 800K player with 2400 points quite literally spend probably $100 to get there.

2) the opponents you face are based on your own ability, so simply increasing your BR doesn't do much. You need to build a better party, not just a stronger one, if you want to do well in the CS Tournament.

3) When a fight times out, it seems the winner is the side that dealt more raw damage. This is how it works in the Team Tournament as well, and at least a few other places. In some ways this puts players who run a full 5-man team at a disadvantage, because that's more target that get hit by the angel attack every 3 turns, or more targets to get hit by aoe skills from the enemy heroes that stay up. This is especially true if the enemy main has super high dodge and you aren't running enough hit, because then your team spends most of their time whiffing. It can suck if you lose a fight because of this, but it really does come down to once again not building your team properly.

i never lose a fight on CS tourny and never got on top100 , i just give up on this event long ago

Pay up i guess. Esp in EST it is impossible without spending. Clearing S is like the basic standard if u want a decent rank in finals. But even with that some little ppl with bad builds still pay a lot more than u just to rank and make u spend too.

not really, even they pay $100 to get in, they can't win. there is toughest players out there---- such as Eisia.

Single tournament is really the best will win. unless there are two players are 50-50. so it's come down to who got lucky on last hit on the last mins.

BTW, 1. no one said u must be in the tournament. 2. if u can win all 10, it only cost u buy 4 more att per day to get in. so it's 600 diamonds. stop being a cheapo.

Welcome to LoA. This is the norm around here..you spend or be spent. I agree the tournament is bogus and shouldn't allow diamonds at all. A tournament is suppose to be who is the best, not who can spend the most to place, on top of what cashers already spend to beef their team up.

amen to that, but really it never happened mainly because they dont live for fair play, i started a thread not long ago where i ask to put better ways to see who is who and how much someone is strong or weak, BR is meaningless number that just confuse players and i even think that is intentional so they allways can say-*you dont doing something right, they do so even 300 BR lover person can beat you * but when you do comparasion you dont see why is that happening *sigh*

There's no difference between CST and normal fights, if you lost to someone then you could lose to them in normal fights as well.
And hope you aren't that 2 mln guy who lost 7 times against me since he was too lazy to change party's places

I assume you've got hecate and odin's/vider's blade and they do to... so you simply end in a timeout. Which since you're the challenger, means that you lose.
