How to evolve hero

Okay I got the Divine Hunter Crest. How do I evolve my Astral Hunter?
I tried going to the Recruit/Enigma Tavern/Astral hunter and clicking on Evolve. It says that my crest is not owned. It shows up in my inventory. Synth does not recognize it either.
I am The Leon on Server 42, a sorcerer.

In character screen. There is a evolve icon u can click in astral hunters character sheet right above gem inscription icon
