Extend round limit in battles

  • Extend round limit in battles

    Everyone has different play styles, some are offensive, some are defensive, some are a mix. With how much health and defense everyone is gaining any form of tanking is becoming obsolete. The only strategy that starts to work at high end matches is an offensive one which kind of blows.

    Im starting now to see now multiple mobs with 5-10mil++ health and the only way to beat them at this rate would be to build a high offensive team, because if you dont deal enough damage fast enough you run out of turns rather quick and the match is over.

    This would bring a good balance back to the game that's been lost due to not enough rounds to fully allow a match to play through and let people continue to use their personal play style and actually live or die compared to losing due to such a short round limit. It means people with defensive strategies could actually stand a chance to win instead of ending in a stale mate. (which now that Im getting stronger seems to happen way to often, does anyone else have this problem?)

      @tyler - I dont die in any PvE matches currently, all of them tend to end with me maybe losing 1 to 2 hero's tops and the rest of my team full health or close to. I like the way I play and dont feel like I should have to completely redo my team to match the offensive nature that higher level battles require. This is happening in spire, zodiac, dark abyss (vs some mobs) as well as totems. There have even been several times in PvP matches that I see round limit expire even when one side would clearly be the victor, but due to round limits neither team wins since both are considered "attacking" team. In a draw, attacker always loses.

      I dont want a limit extension based on class or build (no matter how retarded a build may be) but I dont feel its right to lose a match based on rounds when the outcome would end in you with a near flawless victory if allowed to play out fully. I dont mind WB or gauntlet staying the same since extending the limit would probably anger/infuriate/frustrate a lot of the masses (since high cashers would likely start to almost kill them solo) but for PvE and PvP matches it would be nice to allow matches to start playing out fully. I'm not a fan of things cutting off short

      Im on S4 but Im sure others on other servers if they watch their battles have experienced the same issue.

      I know in time I'll be able to deal the damage needed to beat them and when I do it'll be a completely one sided fight, but I would rather die a proper death than have a draw, I dont like draws.

        maybe if they add short battle button, really dont want to spend 20 minutes on one fight
