    Vacation

    Hi All,

    I heard somewhere that logging in with a friend's account to help him/her out is against the local "law". First of all.. I never heards such nonsense... but i sad okey i send a ticket that im going on vacation and a named person will play with me. What i got??? I huge "NO".

    I dont understand that why they care or even bothered if i ask someone to play on Gauntlet with me or on WB? Each guild is a family on their own server cos there are not much of us who even play. We helping each other to keep up the good shape of our character. I did a mistake by asking it, i wanted to make the proper way. I play tons of MMo's and online games and never crossed something like this before. Why is it hurt tham if a friend playing on my account? If something bad happens we will report it anyways.

    So i need everyone's opinion on this... is it fair? Is there any logic in this?

    Normally it's against the Rules.
    I played most games from R2 and trust me, if they find out or a certain player hates you and has a good proof on someone being on your acc, different ip/country, etc, even if you spent 1kk euro in game, they care 0 and ban you right away.
    Most people think that their wallet talks, well, I'd do the same to be honest.
    I don't care about " Hey, we like the game, we pay for it ", that's the players choice, but when a rule is broken, it's our choice wether we want to forgive you, or just not think at how much you paid ( cause you wanted it, we didn't force you ) and execute you with a permanent ban.
    In my opinion, it's against the Rules, but alot of players do it, and it's very hard to have a good proof.
    I know people asking in tickets for X player to be checked, and that player received nothing, even if 90% of people from that server knew that the guy shared his account to 1/2 friends and those play when he works/can't log.
    It's a risk people take, a risk that can end up good, nothing happening, or that can end up very bad.
    I have more stories with R2 and the rule brokers, but I'd like to stop here, some info that I know are " restricted " and won't continue with it.

    Those who can't acknowledge their real selves are bound to fail.
    That imitating someone you respect is something you do in order to grow. You can't use it as a disguise to pretend to be someone you are not.

      But still if i go on vacation i cannot name someone who takes care of my account?

        This is so stupid , alot of games have a inside feature to allow other players to log in your account but with their own password and have few limits on what to do , second many on most of those games after a player is set is only allowed to log in for like 2 weeks , this way it stop players from giving the total control of the acc over other player

          Like I said, I know alot of people sharing account and they are my friends, plus they are in big guilds, if you are friendly with entire server, or keep your " sharing " secret with friends you trully think they are friends, then all it's ok.
          You can't name it officially, cause the answer you already got it, it's a NO, and a NO will stay forever. However, you can do like most others, un-officially, cause in the end, if they wanna ban all players who share acc, they'd be down to max 100/50 servers.
          One last thing : Don't try to get attention, especially if you're on a friend's/gf's acc, you'll most likely ruin the reputation of that person and the people who know that person will somehow think it's not him and might get a " little " report, which will result in a ban. Just do your daily, talk in guild, or shut up and log off after you're done with the other acc, if you're on your own, feel free to insult lol, but you'll be muted ^^.

            no, if you do that and someone reports it or they find out, both you AND the person logging you in will get their accounts banned.

              1) Not allowed in this game, high risk of ban, has been covered by last post
              2) keep in mind that some players who shared account came back to find all virtual object that could be sold to have disapear, gems to be synth all together and so on...

              it is better to take the little "lose" of your vacation than to risk a much bigger lose by account sharing.

              ps: I've never seen rpg that allowed account sharing, I've seen in game "sitter" feature in strategies game involving building cities, training troops, sending attack. Even then usually not the full features are unlocked for the sitter.

                Here's a good and friendly advice :
                Living alone? parents? gf/wife?
                1. Living alone? Not much you can do then, go have fun on your vacation and can leave your character to " rest " a bit.
                2. Parents? Uhm, this might work, if you have a best/good friend that your parents know and trust him, can always tell them that you need help with something on your pc ( doubt your parents would understand that you need help in a game ) and let him enter daily and do your stuff from your pc/laptop.
                Why I said that even if it sounds stupid? It's same ip, country, nothing can be done on your account, and it's safe. ( Also works for #1 but doubt any person would let a friend or anyone else alone in their home just for a few stuff to do in game lol )
                3. Wife/gf? Teach her how to do your stuff, however this again doesn't work cause if you go on vacation and have a wife/gf, it's obvious you'll take her with you, so points #1 and #2 are kinda better in my opinion.

                  And still my question is open... what happens if i log in from my vacation location? Im banned? Im pretty sure there is not a single player in the entire game who never was replaced...

                      When I was on vacation I biked 2 hours everyday to the local library to score my tycoon points.

                            it is problem on all mmorpg games, some of them have strickt rules, some turn head on other side or close one eye, but if something bad happen they ban all involved persons.
                            if i might give some suggestion about it, it will be great that you can lock your character for some number of days when you cant be loged (you wont be able to log at all from any location till time you lock it expire) and authorize lettle helper to do some events instead of you. surelly you cant do it every few days, but once or twice a year..............
                            but that is just one idea for that ones who need to go on some time

                              Well i would pay dias for that lil helper if it could do all my daily things
