What does one's vip level need to be to be able to buy extra blitz attempts?

Depends on your VIP Level.
VIP1-2 allows you to buy 1 extra attempt.
VIP3-4 allows you to buy 2 extra attempts.
VIP5-6 allows you to buy 3 extra attempts
VIP7 allows you to buy 4 extra attempts.
VIP8 allows you to buy 5 attempts
VIP9 allows you to buy 6 attempts.
VIP10 allows you to buy 8 attempts.
Seeing once you subscribe for VIP you automatically go to level 3, 90% done towards level 4.
