Upgrading equipment.

Hey, can someone explain to me if I were to upgrade say my Tyr's ring to Imperial, the materials needed would be the Tyr's ring and ore, would the imperial ring inherit the old attributes of the Tyr's ring, or would it create a new ring entirely?
I mean like, I have gotten my ring to +9 which cost me a lot of ore, and I don't really want to have to upgrade it all over again

it inherits everything from the normal tyr's ring

only thing that drops is enhancement level by 5 or 6 don't remember right

U will also lose Enchantments points from urn if you have some .. like u going from 9 to 10 and have ex: 5400 evolution u will lose the 5400 .. so beware .. sorry for late reply, I hope u didnt lose ne'enchants points.
