ive been banned permanently why i dont know

hey I reloaded afgter getting a mute and box popped up saying id had my ip address banned and since getting my 1st mute this morning ive not been on game been doing rl stuff come back to game lagging like hell and reload and that box popped up saying im banned I don't get it how can I be permanently banned if I did nothing more after a 1st mute ?????
