Just spend a bunch of time an $ getting the Mountain god and it's evolution Son of Odin. The theory is that it will protect my fighters so they can do their damage. The reality is that I do grossly lower fighting in World Boss. 
I cannot beat other players that were easy before when I was using the Dark Paladin. Before this I thought the Paladin was the worst. 
Bottom line-- why spend a lot of time and $ on this garbage. Unless I am missing some key points, I don't need to get hurt so badly by this game.
