From what I know ( experienced ) if nothing is done ( mob not attacking ) please try to refresh, if you beat the mob, it will dissapear and the next pack will go normally.
If it's still there, it might be possible that you couldn't beat it. ( Same problem could be applied to Purgatory ).
If I am wrong, someone can correct me.

yes refresh Pegasus or phoenix after 1st att if zodiac guardian not att u and do it again it will be solved
