  • Hit over doge

    Why every good player neglects doge over hit. Untill 1 month or so , all the people where focused on doge, now, eveyone is on hit. And you can't tell me that top tycoon spenders can't bring 50-50 doge hit .... Did pve mobs got boosted and have 10000000 hit? Any good explenation about this

    Well I would assume its a PvP move, as lets face it the top top guys have done everything they can in PVE game.

    As far as PvP goes Hit is easier to build compared to dodge so you can always build more hit than the opponent can build dodge, which is why dodge is on the wane and hit is on the rise.
    Also some PVE mobs have insane dodge which does require that you have insane hit rating.

    To be honest here I am glad dodge is going out, there is nothing more annoying than facing a dodge monkey in PvP who wins soley because they can't be hit.

      ummm >.> with 40k hit you can hit everything for PvE so not so insane.

        sincerly i was curious about the pve thing. i am curious if the mobs got boosted in a manner that doge doesen't matter from a point above. let's say 50 k doge + . and i think you have more to benefit from 80k doge and 50k hit than vice-versa . if i am mistakin' some 1 correct me .

            It simply you need to have dodge higher than oponents hit, and hit higher than oponents dodge . Or if you get agy higher than other one, then get a high hit so hit first and kill it.

              It actually came naturally, will explain with a couple of examples:
              1. let's say you have 50k hit and 80k dodge and you attack another player with the same hit of 50k and dodge of 80k. Battle will last 30 turns as none of you will be able to hit the other and you will lose because you are the challenger. So if you want to win the battle, or at least have a chance for that, you need to have more hit than your opponent's dodge.
              2. lets say you have 50k hit and 50k dodge and go against a player with he same 50/50 hit/dodge. Who will win(for the example lets built and heroes are the same in both players)? If we exclude stuns and chaos(which depend a lot on chance), the player who does the most damage is the logical answer. But in this case - what is the point of the 50k dodge? You are both able to hit each other, none of you dodges, so why waste space for gems and so on on such a high dodge when you could use this space for extra ATK, HP, END and so on that can give you an edge to win the fight?
              With these I want to point that the neglect of dodge over hit came with players experience. Still it depends a lot against who you are fighting. A lot of players switch between hit and dodge depending on who they go against.

                  Being mystic and having Icicle Arrows helps even more, lol. But does it give enough damage to win.....

                      On the other hand - to have 80k dodge and to fight a mystic with non-dodgeable skills who will hit you anyway..... A little annoying.

                          Actually, their formula for hit vs. dodge is quite incorrect, or they coded it that way on purpose. Hit actually procs. a percentage higher than the actual number. Don't know what that number is, but it's probably upwards of 25%.

                          I have over 52k dodge. There's only one other non-casher on my server that can hit me, and she has 44k hit. Watching compares, or other logs of our fights, I've yet to see a dodge from her 44k hit. So I think they coded hit to proc. to a percentage higher. Which is immensely unfair since everything under the sun gives you hit, and very little gives dodge.
