Lucky Tree's Berserk Axe Shards

Is it possible to return the shards into the tree?
There were supposed to be shards - 400 coins x 1 shard, in the prev. trees. But unfortunetly its not here again.
Or we have to exceed the 50's shards and be wasted?

Usually you can use extra shards in smelting event. Most likely devs will not return it, but we cant give guarantee about that, because it is always up to developers decision and they dont inform us about such things.
