energy cards for craftmaster

So why are they not giving out energy cards in hot events and I thought before we at least had one shot at cloud palace .
feeling short changed in all events .

There was never a free attempt in cloud palace, except free pass which you can get from event for 3000 daily craft points.
And changes in events are made by developers.
