Yes, its called tycoon resources, not tycoon gold. Even if gold returns someday, rates will be different like 1 or 10M gold for 1 point. But its up to developers and their current statement that they will not return gold to tycoon.

dissagree, that could be limited as they do with gemology points, point is that gold was used from free players not ot win tycoon it was there to help them reach rewards for 1 mill or 1.5 mill total points in hot events that was out of reach for them without gold.
If you look that way tycoon is useles event than too, because many players saved enchanted ores or other resources for few months before use it in tycoon just because they want rewards from hot events, we cant compete with mid and hard core cashers anyway, so if they make 3 mill or 15 with gold dont bother me

yes, in single server it is only thing how many top players in top alliances is on server, so most ppl are on even ground more or less
