how to get lots of gold in tycoon?

Anyone tell me how to get in excess of 8 BILLION in gold for the Tycoon event? Some on my server seem to be managing it and I cant seem to find any way of getting anything like that amount!
The top gold collector in the Tycoon event has 837000 points which at 10,000 gold accumulated per point means he has amassed 8.37 Billion in gold!! You can buy diamonds but I dont see a tab for gold!
Everytime in SS Tycoon same 4 or 5 people getting top slots on gold scores no matter what others do on all other items, are they cheating or is there a secret gold stash that I am missing?

Demonic War........ max achievable (with the "improved") is 8.7 billion gold - 870k points.

In my opinion, DW should stay in 40 minutes, without gold cap. Or 1 hour, without the cap so people can make over 1 or even 2m points in tycoon.

Ofc, you need to be at lvl 70 at least.
