Fusion gems

What kind of sockets/equipment support fusion gems? I have an advanced socket but I cannot put a high level fusion gem in it. In the future I want to avoid wasting advanced socketing rods so I'm asking it here.

If you've upgraded a socket using magic socketing rods, you should be able to put a fused gem into that slot. Is it giving you a message when you try?

Also, you never need to "waste" the socketing rods. You can inherit the gear and the sockets will transfer.

Well, when I drag the gem to the socket it just doesn't get socketed.

This would be so much easier if we cut me out of the conversation and you join Discord.

I misunderstood the information I was given. You cannot click and drag fusion gems. You need to double click the fusion gem for it to go into the socket.

If that does not work for you, we will need a video of you attempting it, so we can forward it to support and they can hop on and look at it.
