Pro-rated damage to angel from diminished beasts in Gauntlet

Seems to me that it would be more fair if the amount of damage done to the angel being protected in the Gauntlet was reduced if the beast which gets through has already been hit and had its own health reduced. As it stands now even a weakened beast that gets through does as much damage to the angel as it would have if it had not been hit at all.
