My Amora got 7* (Majestic) at 3900 evo!!! Pretty lucky if you ask me! At the moment she is at 9561 evo for 8* (Unearthly)

I got star 8 on Nyssa with a little more than 10k, however yesterday I got fifth star on Angelina with less than 1200... The random number generator just doesn't like you, maybe you smell ? :P
