If I understand correctly, you faced an opponent with less BR than you in the tournament and instead of dealing damage you healed him, right?

Here's the thing, learn to pay attention to what you're doing. Your opponent was most probably with a 2 hero party having a hecate and high stats on his main.

not sure why you are complaining about that, br means jack squat. I fought Empress V in the tournament, 1.08 mil br and was dealing 339k per hit compared to his 259k and I only have 598k br.

I think the 'heal' thing works with the dual healer party too.

So that explains those fights in the past where I saw healing instead of damage.

Actual fight=200000 damage taken, 300000 healing done
TT fight=100000 healing divided into 10(? Too lazy to check atm) hits, 10k+10k+10k and so on.
