Awhile back, I thought I would try taking unbalanced parties to an extreme. Right now, the most common party strategy is to build up main and one or two heroes, with the rest as cannon fodder. After some playing around, I decided to effectively solo with my main, with all four opals playing one-hit blocks.
Current thoughts: it's a bit aggravating, not being able to increase gems, training or upgrade very much at a time. Also, PvP does suffer. Considered picking up a topaz at lvl 45, but figured I'd ride it out till 61 for a ruby (and finally spend all the Element dust I've been accumulating).
However, there are some bright spots:
Leo down with < 80k BR
I know, it's not much, but I usually can't take down Leo until I'm closer to 100k BR with trad builds.
Other than VIP, there was no spending involved.
