I see R2 has started banning ppl who have kindly asked their friends to keep their accounts active for some period of time and for that act of kindness they get ban by R2.
Now, we all know that if we don't play for that period of time, we will fall back and that it can be harder to catch up with others, especially if there is some special event (whatever this may be cause this is on individual basis what we consider "important event").
There are some browser based games that have Sitters/Keepers of accounts. This means if I am going to vacation for let's say 10 days, I can appoint up to 2 persons (accounts) to be my Sitter/Keeper. They don't have my account info. All they need is my username and their password to log in on my account and play it legally.
So, my suggestion to R2 is:
Allow us to have up to 2 sitters/keepers who will log in our accounts with their password and our usernames, BUT make it that they can't access basic account info and that they can't also access payment section. You lose nothing by this, but we really gain a lot!

Closing this. It's against the terms of use. It's not allowed, it's cheating!!! Can't make it more clear than that. Will never be allowed in any way shape or form.

The guy asked a guild mate he trusted to do a simple baby sit which included like 2 tasks, daily vids for diamonds and run his character in a war. (War was not real time guild v guild for points in PvP battles)
His trusted guild mate striped him for the war so he lost every battle and the other guild won. Trusted did not do the daily vids. Trusted SOLD all gold and diamond units and equipment at 50% cost, bought new stuff and sold it again, and again, and again.....until he had little gold and few diamonds.
Trusted then left the guild for the enemy guild. SOL.
LMAO, I have seen this too in another game.... people who trust people who they can't touch (good or bad) crack me up

not being sabotaged, being realistic
and many take this game too serious, if you have a life to live..... go live it, LOA will be here when you are done
if dinner is ready and world boss is playing, I am going to go eat dinner..... but if you would skip dinner with your family to play world boss?
no judgement from me .... LOLZLast edited by sheneedabear; 07-21-2014, 11:44 AM.

Agrees and really , people , there is real life and rent , kids and other necessities , and gaming. Trying to keep both is a challenge. Especially if you end up in a game as demanding as LoA.

well i have to totally agree with this and i know it's being done in other games as well. I don't see where the problem could be .. if I trust someone enough with my account than it's on my expense if they mess it up or keep it right.
R2 does not have to get involved in the " he did , she did" drama at all. you gave your account in care to "x" ? OK - your problem.
More-so most of us have jobs. and we need them in order to recharge too
However- and this is happening to me , as a sound engineer i have to take care of my job first , and daily i got a lot of stuff to do . I am grateful and lucky i can actually log in from work. And i abuse it. Also, sometimes i have to give up my lunch break just to do stuff in game.
Go figure.

I don't have a crystal ball, but even with this idea I see a ton of these kinds of threads in the future
"gm please help, I appointed (insert name here) to sit over my account and they sold all my weapons, please restore"
"gm please help, I appointed (insert names here) to sit over my account and I don't know which one violated tos getting me banned"
"gm please help, I appointed (insert name here) and they put all my blessed stones on a hero I didn't want them to, pls fix"
and so on, and so on
