I like free events as much as everyone, but just because 1 event doesn't have any totally free rewards doesn't mean all others will require cash (at least not yet). There have now been two "Precious" events that gave away 200 or 300 diamonds. If you saved those you would probably have enough for Styx.

If you are physically unable to recharge diamonds, meaning electronic payment is not available to you then you have a legitimate gripe. If you are capable of making electronic payments, then spending on a few diamonds here and there should not be a big deal to support a game you likely spend hours playing each day. I have no intention of recharging 5000 diamonds or more for an angel, but if I really want Styx, I don't see a problem recharging 500 diamonds.

Also for those who have free recharge offers available, you can do more than the 1 or 2 diamond video offers. I've seen numerous people in the forum say they support their VIP subscription with free offers.

Point is EVERYTHING does not have to be free or have a free reward.

Of course if every or most events start requiring a 500 diamond recharge then I would be upset. I would also say that "recharge" should be replaced with "recharge or spend" so that those with diamonds can use what the already have recharged previously.

Making 699 dias for a month from free offers and making 500 for one day are two different things. I do make my VIP but no way I can do enough offers to get Styx....

And you are forgetting that we are all from different countries, different currencies and life standards. For some of us 5$ are a lot to pay for a game.

Overall I think LoA does a good job of giving free players a lot of options and they can compete even with many cashers. But some people seem to complain that if everything isn't free then free players can't compete with cashers. Free players are not supposed to be able to compete with cashers, that's why cashers cash. Free players should be competing with other free and light cashers and for that it doesn't matter if angel event is $5 this time.

They have made it easier for free players to get enigma heros by putting aces in master of poker event, free players now get free CD for loop quests, more free gear and mounts in tycoon, angel events. A few months ago we had none of those. I'm not trying to defend R2, but I don't think they are as bad as some people complain about.

i dont think they will give free ( rechage any amount whatever) angel anymore on exclusives. they keep adding new ones they definatelly add on arena shop too

Stop trying to make excuses for there greedyness. This is just one thing but watch and see that all the other free stuff will be casher only for now on. Pretty soon the daily hot events will be recharge at least 5.00 too. It's not about the money it's the fact they are making every thing casher only now. It's pure greed and that's just stupid. Also you need to save for at least 6 months to get anything worthwhile in the HoC event. It doesn't matter how much easier it is. The point is that everything is turning into casher only now.

I'm not making excuses for them. I'm sure they are greedy, but the only reason LoA exists is so that they can make money. If they don't make money from cashers there will be no game.

I disagree with you though that everything is casher only now. Did you read my posts? There is more to help the free player now than before; angel event (before this one), mount event, master of poker for HoC, new angels and heros in shop, heroic gear for everyone in tycoon, free costumes, wings, and mounts in multiple events. In the spring none of that was here.

It only takes about 3 months for HoC if you save all cards and only use the 10 free ones each day. I know because I just got hecate without using any diamonds because I saved up 1200 cards to get 60k points and top rank in HoC.

Take a good look at LoA and see all that you can do each day without diamonds. You are NOT supposed to be able to compete with cashers. If you could compete with cashers, the cashers would stop and the game will end because they make no money. A casher is supposed to beat you and you should not be upset when they do. You are competing against other free players and you have just as much as they do.

If you have money you are king over free players only. Unless you are the one that spends thousands of dollars you will still not be king because there is always a bigger casher.

If you don't have money you can be king of free players (and light cashers). There is a free player on my server who is in top 5 in COM, even after merging with two other servers he is still top 5. He doesn't have VIP and only diamonds are the couple from free video recharge. He saves and is very smart in his build so free player can be very strong. He will never be #1, but that is okay, top 5 or top 10 is good enough.
