Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Christians acknowledge Jesus as the Saviour of the world, and while he most likely was not born on 25 December, it is the day Christians adopted from ancient pagan festivities to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Christmas for me doesn't mean the same as it did before. But it's a traditional event with family (Event of Love) --> but you can love your loved ones everyday in the year.

Although the Christmas tradition has been subtle changes over time, and changes, we now see are significant; Christmas has continued to be one of the greatest traditions and rituals held around the world. This event live once a year, it is important to me because it changes the thinking and the sharing of every human being who has even a slightest notion of what this is, families forget some of their discussions (at least simulate what is important), their problems, their differences and so with every human being. I put my hand to make Christmas an event full of solidarity, fantasy, humility, love, charity, and what is most important of all: 'not forget what the real purpose of this festival, which is purely religious and has to do with Our Lord Savior and Redeemer, Jesus, The Firstborn Son of God.

What makes christmas special for me is the gathering of family / friends and the relaxed non-hectic feel with happiness. Something unfortunately not gotten through a normal year/workday workweek etc for the most part except when home. This year especially is a great christmas for me with the addition of my first born newborn baby / now 6 months old she is getting to experience her first christmas with her mom and dad / great grandparents and grandparents. lots of love and happiness.
