Christmas is all about the happy feeling people get inside. The general population seems to do more for their fellow man, and the humanitarian attitude seems to surface in most. More smiles cross the lips of people during the holiday season. The gift giving and receiving is just a catalyst for the attitude of the populace. the songs, the games, the commercialism, and of course, Santa, make the holiday bright and lay a foundation for happiness, hope, love and an "up" attitude toward fellow humans and non-humans.

My children waking up and seeing their faces light up with excitement when they see all the presents santa has left them, the smells coming from the kictchen with everything baking in the oven, time with friends and family, sitting down and sleeping the afternoon away, time to relax

Christmas is very special to me this year, will be spending Christmas with my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews I have not seen in 2 years. It will be the Happiest Christmas for me this year.

To me sometimes its not the same at Christmas because some loved ones are no longer with us or some relationships have gone their natural course and no longer together. For me Christmas still remains special because i know the majority of our family and loved ones are together and appreciate each others company...its 1 time that no matter what differences may be family can put it aside. Its just a time where everyone can reflect on the good things in personal life and all around you. Love the smell of a fresh cut evergreen...hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.... jecht (UA21)

Everyone has their reasons why they like or dislike Christmas. I really like Christmas and having family traditions on the day of Christmas. This will be my first year away from my parents and sister for Christmas. I am not able to travel to my hometown because I'm pregnant and my due date is Dec. 30th. I want to try and make the most out of my Christmas with my new family, but my boyfriend is really not into the holiday and I am worried I might get really emotional if I don't try for a wonderful Christmas with him. He sees no point in Christmas and I can understand thinking family should do fun things all year round, etc... but there is a spirit of Christmas that fills me with warmth and love like no other time of the year... anyway.. I am just curious as to reasons Christmas is special to you.. So please share traditions and reasons with me.

christmas is the most special day of the year.it brings happyness to the hearts of human and brings the family together+ we get 11 days off-work so its awesome

Christmas is special to me because i have the oportunity of doing what ever i want >D moreover my family travel around the world . we r not together but we have time to relax more than other days
