I believe it is a time to spend with friends and family. I also believe Christmas to be a time of realizing good things in other people and put the past behind us and forgiving.

Christmas Day coincidentally is also my Mother-in-law's birthday hence we always go out for dinner or lunch as a family. Its the time where we all meet up and eat to our heart's content and not forgetting the birth of Christ Jesus himself.

Christmas is Special to me because it is the last Holiday of the year. Gives everyone a chance to see each other and reflect on the year that is coming to an end. It is to both give and to receive and forgive if necessary. And i know people say New Years eve party's are what is used to say bye to the year that past to bring in the new, but lets face it....that day is just to get drunk and let loose with all your friends.
