If I'm not mistaking the merger should be between 07:00 and 11:00 ST. nothing yet, plus TA will not start......

Sadly, it's not R2's move when merging servers, It's the devs ( R2 => not dev ).
A thread would be nice for everyone to post their server name who do NOT want to get merged ( but later on to not post that they need merge ), and that way those servers would be avoided/ignored from the merge, but devs look at activity/certain stuff before doing merges, and wether you need or not, you can sure expect the un-expected.

I guess if we don't wanna have our servers merged, then we should ADVERTISE our server in the forum... so new players will want to go to the old servers?

Why would a new player go to an old server where they never can catch up? If I am a new player I will go to a new server where I start on an equal base with the others. It's the logical thing to do. No player like just trailing after old ones and never be able to compete with them.

Well, right now they are doing exactly that - populating old servers by merging them. They can't put new players on old servers if that's what you think as populating.

And for these who still haven't gotten it - devs have their requirements for servers. You fall below them - you get merged, you are above - you don't get merged, want it or not. So I guess we all will have to live with it.

Well, right now they are doing exactly that - populating old servers by merging them. They can't put new players on old servers if that's what you think as populating.
