Why doesn't 8/26 Consecutive Recharge give CURRENT event chest?

Don't know if this is a bug (mistake) or if they meant to do this, but the current Consecutive Recharge event gives Anniversary Lion Chests (the previous event chest) instead of Anniversary Icefyre Chests (the current event chest)

If its a mistake, it should get fixed. If its intentional, I'd kinda like to know why.

There isn't anyone online atm who could answer that. We can ask once they're back online, which will be tomorrow morning China time. But even then, if it's intentional the answer to 'why' will just be 'because'.

it just seemed kinda silly to me to give the old chest as the reward.... I would think that giving the current event chest would entice more people to recharge
