Text Anomalies (??)

Found this little gem when I scrolled up to see what I missed while eating breakfast during the CCW.

Well I will have to leave it up again through the Central Crystal War (as originated) to see if it will happen. I went to eat breakfast while Central Crystal War was happening, and wanted to scroll up to see if any team mate wrote something when I came across such.

So it was only during Crystal War?

As far as I can see, yes (for the moment; at the 10am one). It was one of those days I had to scroll up (usually, I would clear the chat when I return, but got some active folks in the other guilds within my team).

I will ask the mentors if they also notice the same thing happening so we can get an idea if this is a global issue.

I will try again later tonight at the 10pm CCW since it is slow at that time and will gather after leaving it on for a long time to see if it was just an isolated incident or something that needs to be addressed.

FYI, only half of the recorded text does that while the recent 10-15 lines have the text along with player name.

Update: I had left the session on away. Only a few lines of text had that anomaly where [info] was blanked out with [ ] as I had blessed at the beginning of CCW. I am thinking the chat buffer starts to "erase" certain named entries but leaves the text intact as it hits a limit. This will make it hard for those wishing to report someone on harassment and/or vulgarities that they have to screen shot it then and there before the buffer removes key info like name from the chat text, especially if multiple screenshots are made to fully detail the incident.

The difference between the 10am CCW anomaly and the 10pm one is not much Cross Server MPD invite text is shown at the 10pm, hence why only a few lines of text affected.

Tip: if testing this to replicate, go in when the server is fully active with text (best through Cross Server Matching as many will do the invite text at nearly the beginning of such) and stay online for at least 30 minutes (the amount of time I left it at when I just start CCW and don't come back after the end), then just expand the chat box and scroll all the way to the top.
