I think they are questioning the amount of BR in terms of being the top ones with a large amount of points over the course of one day.

I still don't know why anyone would care. Day 1 rankings have literally zero relevance, to anything, unless they can maintain that high rank through the end of the week. Honestly, it's practically a gift to anyone else who can leapfrog them, so it probably helps you a lot more than it hurts you.

Sure, it must be some sort of bug or exploit, but why bother fixing it? There are so many better things to spend developer time on.
