Well the book clearly states "use to learn any active willpower skill" so why can't we use the books on lvl 5 - 7 skills?

Either you correct the text on the item or you allow use to use the item the way you said it could be used.

You missing the point. That's not what the item says.

You can only use eudaemon skill books and books of wisdom for eudaemon skills only. The books are you showing are only for willpower skills and can not be used on eudaemon skills. Keep in mind it does also say that willpower skill cap will increase when the level of ALL skills in a vertical line are maxed out. This means you need to have both skills in the same line level 8 before the willpower skill can go to level 9.

I know it said willpower skill...It still says it can be used on any active willpower skill not after both are lvl 8. Nor does the description in the help menu state that you need to have both to lvl 8 b4 you can use the books.

The max level for eudaemon skill is 8. Once the eudaemon skill level is 8 you can not make it higher. This will make the willpowers skill level 8 as well.

"Willpower skill level cap will increase when the level of all skills in a vertical line is maxed out."

These means that both of the main eudaemon skills and the sub eudaemon skills that show as having a + between the skills need to be level 8 so the skill cap level of the willpower will increase past 8 letting you get level 9 or higher willpower skills. When the skill cap increases your willpower will then be able to use willpower skill books up to skill level 12, they can not be used before this time since the willpower skills are based off the main and sub eudaemon skill which only take eudaemon skill scrolls or books of wisdom.

looks like you missing the point or you still not undarstend that willpower skill is only from lvl 9 to 12 and to get there you need both eudas skills lvl 8 like i say in my first comment.

You make a Willpower by merging 2 eud therefor the skills on the willpower is a willpower skill not a eud. Use logic it's no longer a eud it's now a willpower therefor the book should be able to be used regardless of what skill lvl it is cuze the skill is now a willpower skill.

Would you really want to be able to waste items that will (eventually) be important on earlier levels where you have cheaper alternatives? That was possible with advanced runestones, but I don't think anyone particularly needed that ability.
It's like asking why you can't use advanced mahra to upgrade a basic or advanced sylph. You would be a fool to do it, and the game is saving you from that foolishness.

If you go to the skill page on a willpower, you are able to upgrade the original eudaemon skills, but you can't upgrade the willpower skills, until the 2 eudaemon skills are maxed. So there's no conflict, and there really shouldn't be any confusion.
