200mbps? dont laugh I am playing on 2mbps speed. not too long ago was playing on 512kbps.

just curious anyone else playing at such speed or lower?

This is my normal internet connection that I play wartune. I am connected wirelessly at the moment. It should be faster but probably got a lot of devices on and I am to lazy to turn off.

Looks like your school is running at nearly OC3 speeds (it probably is an OC3 line, but lots of simultaneous connections will reduce tested bandwidth). That's a VERY nice connection.

Yes, it can't get much better. Your ping measures the round-trip time of a packet of data going from your computer, out to the test server, then back again. That means, for you, it takes only 1 millisecond (0.01 seconds).

This could also mean your university could be hosting the speed test server. Meaning it's on the same network you're on, and your speed test results are of the internal network speed. It would make sense with 100Mbps (roughly the speed you're testing at) being an older standard for home/office networks.

Try doing another speed test and select a server that's a little farther away from where you are and see if you get the same results.
