I thought the message you get when switching sylph is pretty obvious:
"Your attacks have been switched to *insert sylph element here* "

The mage attacks are element based, similar to how the floating damage astral only affects skills where your character jumps.

All char skills are non elemental.

Non elemental attacks are effected by the defenders highest res sat.

Re test using a different res type or get a guild mate of a different class to try, you will get the same outcome.

we have tested it in all types of ressistance and sylphs and only on ELECTRO my atacks are useles , 5 diferent players , knights , mages , and archers tested it with me , and on all clases i deal lowest damage when they max their ELECTRO RESS , my skills are electro based


hiting player with thunderer deals 50K damage without electro ress
hiting same player with thunderer deals 20K damage with electro ress

and its hapening only with electro ress.

I think the OP is onto something. I'm curious how many of you doubters have even bothered to test it yourself... Something maybe isn't working correctly but unless you have tested it yourself, how can you doubt his testings? I'd like to see further testing done.

mmm am a mage and was bored, tested it all, have no idea whats wrong with your toon, but my toon attacks are matk, NOT electro, hell use Triton so mine become water in sylph mode. Electro resistance is preety useless vs my guy. Sorry but you seem to have glitch where your attacks are somehow stuck in sylph electro mode, only thing that makes sense.

You are slightly right with classes being a elemental type...but the thing is
If you use Hercules you are electric attack on all attacks, if you are hades/gaia, all of your attacks are dark.
The list goes on for all the sylphs.

Just my 2 cents
