bonus on skills

I just wonder why archer on every skill they have get a bonus, they get more crit, more hp and reduce targets attacks. Just by using basic attack skills.
Knights and mages hardly have skills with bonus.
So why not give knights more block or hp on their skills?
Would be more fair in bg's.

knights have shields, mages heal and archers debuff and increase damage. Its been that way from day one and if anything gets changed that will open a new box of cupcake mix
