I tell ya this, while I'm disappointed there's no chocolate or Kyanite in this event, and thus no Mahra to be gained or Academy to be boosted from this event, I'll probably still do it, and here's why:

• Stockpile Skeleton Keys to run DT Regular Summoner and get TONs of Blue Items. Why you may ask? Because I've only amassed about 400 L3 Refinement Crystals in about 2 months of every-day play. That's it. We're going to need Thousands to refine our L80 gear down the road, and I don't want to pay for the crystals out of pocket.
• I'll get an extra 5K Soul Crystals - which will go into the next unlimited SC event, so that helps.
• The 20% initial return isn't that bad on the whips.

Mostly, I don't think we're going to ever have another Mount Event that will return a Monthly Event item. I think they caught on that a lot of lighter and moderate cashers pulled in the reigns on their spending when that happened because they didn't need to pony up Balens to get event Mounts and Clothes anymore.

You know, It's ridiculous to say they are losing money over people saving whips and sc. This entire Valentines day event was built around cash events.
Buy balens, get chocolate, spend balens get chocolate. Buy balens to buy clothes to get chocolates,etc..

They aren't losing money, and I don't feel sorry for their overflowing pocket books after this event.

The only difference is now they are taking away any rewards what soever for anyone who isn't willing to fork out 100's of dollars.
BTW, I've spent at least 100 dollars this month on events and things and did not even come close to getting the wings.
