Removed Items

This is prob a topic discussed b4, but couldn't find previous posting...my apologies if redundant. Why are items I've bought and paid for removed from my inventory after events??? I find this totally outrageous and approaching theft by developer. Maybe I want to save them for the next event....maybe I just want to look at them in my inventory...maybe its not your property anymore, R2, if I've purchased it from you... The only thing I see as NOT MAYBE is this practice should stop immediately!!!

Stop this burglary of our paid for inventory NOW or replace the Topaz or Diamonds used to acquire them!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I understand your frustration about events items being removed in game but its the devs who have set such rules in game that those items will be removed once the events is over. Players have constantly requested that such practice should be change but its the devs who decide on this. You can also see on item descriptions if it will be removed and once the events over an ingame mail is sent to players about item removals so for now make sure you use the items within the events period.

Is "the devs decided this" the excuse for this horrible behavior...seriously???? I've overlooked the problems with recharging, the lack of response or simply ignored help tickets, game down times due to whatever excuse you're currently using (I heard game was hacked)...but the game devs thinking it's "OK" to just take paid for property from our inventories due to their greed, that I won't stand for. Guess the only recourse is to contact PayPal about your dubious business practices...

You are using a SERVICE. You do not buy or own anything. You pay for the service of the game being hosted and run for you. You can spend some money to make this service more enjoyable for you but you do not obtain any property rights on anything.

You go to the cinema, it's free today but if you want to have popcorn you have to pay, if you want 5.1 sound, you have to pay, if you want 4k resolution you have to pay, you at no moment own the cinema, the chairs, the screen, the popcorn machine, the sound system or anything else.

I know the "terms of use" are a long and crappy thing to read and for some it's even after reading impossible to understand the read but this is socialistic Monopol-Capitalism, get used to it, it's becoming more.
Example: Windows is now a Service, you can use it but you don't own it anymore and you pay, even if you get it for free, with your personal and use data. Apple, you can buy an iPhone but if apple would discontinue the service of iCloud, iTunes and whatever "i" else they have you end up with an unusable brick. Most probably don't even own their router for the internet.
... but that becomes now ideology discussion in which most are not interested because "... comfort first, what do I care about rights and liberties, too much work to bother with those...."

If I "go to the cinema" as you suggested and buy popcorn I OWN IT!!! If I use Topaz or Diamonds which I purchased with good old American dollars, anything I purchase belongs to ME!! If anyone tries to take it away from me, that's theft plain and simple!!! Your explanation might hold water in North Korea where the government "owns" everything, but if you're doing business in the USA, better obey some simple laws about owned property or the consequences are stiff. Sorry, Dude...your attempt to justify this devious behavior by R2 is suspicious at best and falls completely FLAT!

If you want to get technical, the transaction is considered completed once you have received your in-game currency; or whatever extra items were displayed on the pack chosen from the shop(purchase window not in-game shops). If you had properly understood their T.O.S. you'd have been aware that's where legal responsibilities end. Your welcome to try things out with Paypal, but last I checked in any e-commerce purchase like this older than 30 days; prior to when you first attempted to open your claim, they won't bother with. Not to mention your account will be perma-banned if any chargeback does happen to go through. Your also welcome to seek legal council, but most of these clone works from overseas are in some marginal way connected to large corporate conglomerates like Tencent, so good luck. Unless you're one of the ungodly 6 figure supporters here you'll be investing far more monetary expenditure then you'll ever receive back for anything short of a long and dirty class action suit. Long being the operative word, as with just about any people vs "insert name" large corporation it generally takes years; largely from various forms of stalling in an attempt to bleed the opposition dry. Even then, and if somehow you manage to actually make a dent in whatever shell corp name the devs behind this particular title would use, they'd almost certainly just respawn soon under a different banner.

Now do I agree with everything that happens by way of any dev team used, or occasionally by R2 themselves? Hell no, but you have to put your emotions aside and be real about the situation. Assuming you want to learn anything from it, and not end up just looking the fool spouting off in varying degrees of anger like many before you.

In case I'd get some easy way out reply about the T.O.S. let me cherry pick a few things here:
*"R2Games does not guarantee the continuation of the Services." *"R2Games may limit, temporarily suspend, or permanently terminate your account or access to the Services or modify or remove any User Content in its sole discretion, and R2Games is under no obligation to compensate you for any losses or damages in this connection."
This means they could do anything from banning your account, up to totally closing up shop, and would not legally owe you anything as long as no current purchase was still pending, and no concurrent charges are made after the fact.
Think not? Let me use another:
*"By accessing the Site, you agree to the Terms of Service". That line right there makes any further action taken by you in regards to any link that directly connects to R2games.com to be found acceptable to you, and with this later inclusion: *"You acknowledge that you are not entitled to a refund", stated multiple times throughout means your entitled to all of jack squat aside from anything counted in a purchase making it's way to your account as so stated at the time of purchase.

If you are still finding trouble with this, take some time to look up End User License Agreements (EULA)s and what does and doesn't actually constitute personal property in these cases. Given your prior responses thus far, I believe you may find it time well spent.

Additional note:
Having stated all the above, many things that have happened and likely will continue to happen, won't by any means paint the best picture of the company as a whole. Be it something they've done directly, something they've willingly gone along with, or something another party associated with them has chosen to; or more often not to, do without them knowing in advance. As a business in this day & age that doesn't exactly amount to much unfortunately, as otherwise businesses like themselves would be much more careful about it. Not saying it doesn't have an effect, as compared to when I first joined they're definitely on a spiral, but it's always been obvious its meant as a get what you can while you can as opposed to something that would have a chance to span generations and beyond.

*If any of the above wasn't stated clearly enough for you, I'm positive with a little doing you could find posts by others more articulate than I regarding similar claims at monetary entitlement and dissatisfaction of operations.
