VIP counter moves by 10 per day only, was cca two weeks ago by 100

Hi, The VIP experience counter moves when gathering daily VIP experience by 10 only. A few weeks ago (2-3) was the daily decrease in points needed to reach a higher level by 100 per day. The 10 points makes reaching higher levels practically impossible as a transition can occur by 10000 points needed from one level to another in years. Is this an intentional change or an error?
