Disconnected

All week I have been struggling to play this game because every 5 minutes I am being disconnected. It is really impossible to fight a battle when you are constantly being disconnected in the middle of it! See the screenshot - it happens randomly and often. It is frustrating the apples out of me and discouraging me from even trying to play - if I don't play, R2 no get pay, if you follow my drift, ;-)
Forgot to mention that this disconnect happens if you open another tab to go check your email, or go to the forum and it even does it if you just minimize your screen. Basically if you are not doing something every second you are logged in, it disconnects. Apparently fighting, moving troops, fighting in arena or in dungeons does not count as being active because it will disconnect while you are doing all these activities.

I know a GM for one game once had to deal with the issue of background tabs being throttled on Chrome. I can't recall if he said the same happens on Firefox. I haven't personally had an issue with either Chrome or Firefox, but everyone's system is different, and I don't run games in Chrome. This definitely sounds like background tab throttling, a feature intended to prevent background tabs from bogging active tabs down. There are add-ons/extensions that prevent this from happening, since I know Chrome removed the flag that allowed for enabling/disabling, but you would have to search for them.

If you need me to, I can reach out to the GM and see what solution he went with.
