Defending side always wins, unless attacker is heavily outnumbering or outgearing, otherwise u do not have chance.
If this game is not just a translation and u guys are actually able to develop it in way u wish, make sure to make combat fair, otherwise its just pointless,

I guess is where teamwork and communication comes in. Joining an active guild can bring more troops together to attack the same target. Nation chat also can help bring more troops together on the one target.
