Hello Everyone! I'm new here, how can I attack the monster?

I'm surprised no one has answered this yet:
To attack, you need to have progressed far enough in the game to be able to attack them.
When you have: you will be able to search for them on the map, and then attack them.
At first: you can only attack a level 1, and there should be some near your fief, but as you beat each level of monster: you will be able to search and attack higher levels.
