Joyopark Update Part Three

UPDATE, PART THREE: During the 7/12 maintenance we were able to restore the majority of the missing Joyopark characters to their owners. Unfortunately there were some issues that prevented a few characters from being restored. These issues fall under the following two types:


Type One: The devs checked into the character database and were unable to find any information for a few chracters. It is now impossible to restore the following twelve players’ characters.
For the above twelve players, we are continuing to search through the database to see if there’s any way to restore their characters. If we can’t, R2 will compensate them based on their loss.

Type Two: Some players registered new accounts in R2 and created new characters, which were lost in the maintenance and may not be restored:

• (S1) ouel007
• (S5) twenty8
• (S1) Dragonshane

For the above players, they have to register a new account and they should bear in mind that they cannot create new character under these new accounts. Or the same issue will happen again.

My guess is either A) They have no clue what they are doing yet and are trying to figure it out guess by guess or B) They really could care less and already forgot they told everyone to send tickets and take 500 other steps that they shouldn't have to take just to play a game. The people working on this seem to think its a joke, and R2 doesn't seem to care enough because they already make tons of money off the people playing. A few hundred dollars a month lost to them is nothing with the money they make daily. If they really cared this wouldn't have taken near as long and the players wouldn't have had to do anything other than create an R2 account and give them the info to link the two. This has been the biggest joke of a merge I've ever heard of from any game or any service. I've played another game that was tossed back and forth between companies before and had zero problems getting my account back. All my friends and me were able to play the same day of the transfer. Why would a merge on here take any longer? It's not like this game is insanely advanced nor insanely high on memory usage so you know the coding and the database files shouldn't be that big or hard to work with either. If R2 cares at all about the people on this site or the money they make then they should update us regularly and not require so much from the players other than checking back every couple days.
