Well it ain't a permanent event.
And it's got a 10% chance of triggering an arctic blast, the Earthen Frag gives you only 3% chance (correct me if I'm wrong).
1 attack out of 10 attacks, that's a good thing~

This has been very helpful for me since I've only been playing a few weeks. Personally I think all you guys complaining are spoiled little brats because all the other events help mostly higher level players and leave lower ones in the dust. Well it's about dang time they did something for newer players! Get over yourselves!!!
