Fine, to be more constructive.

His guide about soul is misleading and filled with wrong informations so far. He claims that +10% patk would turn the dps of 10 hits into the dps of 11 hits.
That is wrong. It only affects the base patk, which is usually FAR lower than the current atk due to wings, gems, flat bonus from soul and other +% patk.

Rogues attackspeed has a base of 0.8 seconds and they hit twice with half their patk. Sure, going all out on patk can compensate the loss of dmg per hit but going all out on agility/critstrike to raise dodge and crit is far more benefitial. You want all hits to crit with 300%+ crit damage.
I can tell he has no focus on crit by looking at his buffed stats and that is what makes him weak in terms of dps.

He also says that atk speed would be a pve stat. That is wrong as well. Attackspeed and Movementspeed are pvp stats.
Now again, rogues hit for half their patk. If you don't crit then you gonna have some trouble against knights with huge def/reduction.

The way to go for an overpowered rogue is to max dodge, movespeed, attackspeed, crit and critdmg. 4 of those attributes are covered by the goddess of gloriana.
The damage output would be much greater with gloriana even if he had only 10k patk.

Most guides posted here are rubbish anyway. I don't intend to flame anyone but calling their own guide overpowered and then not providing the stats that a rogue should have is misleading people.

And no, I don't care that this build is good in a new server because you can't be underpowered in a new server if you cash. But people might read this guide and start playing on older servers and this guide for sure would slow them down. If it was only intended for his guildmates or whoever, then it shouldn't be posted in the beginner's forum.

Impressive A mortal with 16k PATK and 78% Crit rate, nice guide so far but could you add the rest of the souls and skill setup ASAP? :P

Might have read that wrong but he was talking about 10% attack, not 10% attack speed.

My build isn't intended for max damage over time it is made for 1-2 hitting opponents not with basic attacks but with skills only you don't see the rest of my stats but I have 260% crit damage and 150% attack speed I know those are important and believe me there are some strong cashers in my server including a knight with ice soul maxed out yet thanks to brilliance soul it has given me enough ap to ignore his defences so i 3 hit him people asked "what are you doing, what is your soul like?" so im showing them this is my first rouge so my experience with rouges is aprox 4 weeks I overcompensate the loss of crit rate with devastating attacks and dodge/defence is not something I am worried about on the fact that my gears are trash have no gems and are prob only +4 I have purple slayers waiting in my inventory so that will come with time

Nice Guide so far, you seem to know what you're doing, since looking at your profile you joined in September 2011. To be honest, my first char was a rogue and I failed it, because I never knew what Soul was until level 50-ish. Now I've restarted in a new server as a knight, but I plan on joining the next East PvE server to be a rogue again. I'm not a casher, but I know what to do now, and this advice really helped.

However, I'd suggest to scrape all the leftover soul shards and PC and put em in Ice Soul. It's really rewarding to get Advantage at a high level, because it gives so much PATK/MATK.


This guide gave me more reason to recreate a new rogue, even if I am not a fast leveler nor casher, I want to be one of those infamous players in seng, that stuns and kills the players before they get a chance to touch them! I'm sure of it that I'll wait for more updates, and when I create a rogue on the next East server I'm sure I'll try to follow this as much as I can.

Pretty good soul guide and sadly the only way I would be able to tell you how many soul shards it costs to max it would be to have kept track of it from the beginning T.T srry wasnt planning on sharing my soul deal with anyone >.> till now

you do know that you need to be grand duke(maybe archduke not sure) to use purple pvp sets,right? and that's not something you will get from cashing.

if you want to avoid what i can only assume will be constant annoyance from this thread, really bamf up the "guide" part... because how to be an overpowered rogue with cash is not exactly difficult to know...

beginner section so you really should have the basics in... stat/skill distribution, training locations, when and why to get what gears with how to get them.

it's not just your guide, almost no guides on these forums are good enough to be called a guide, would be nice if you put the effort in to really teach the uninitiated, GL
