They don't ban if you can't show real proof, with screenshots and such... but then there are actually players who are plain stupid when doing trades.
It have happened a few times that two players have made trades ingame and then one of them have changed their mind and wanted to trade back- when getting a no they start yelling the person are a scammer... idiots.Server: (S45)Exenden Realm

One would have to argue that the admins are here to assist players with queries and problems they might face. However, a line has to be drawn to where an admin steps in. Say i pick up an item, and said item bugs out, I believe i have every right to query and resolve the issue (With Proof). But say i delete an item, that action was my mistake and my responsibility. The same can be said about being scammed. You cant hide behind ignorance, and hope your trade will go as smoothly as you had hoped without putting in some thought and research. Dont deal with accounts that promise high end trades that don't even have high level equipment for themselves (There is no accountability with that players account). Deal with players that are known on the servers. Dont trade before product is visible. If the trader wants you to pay now, and will receive goods later, you deserve to be parted with your hard earned coin. If the trader speaks in broken English on an English server "You me give 15d. I for you costume give", you deserve to be parted with your hard earned coin.
Take some responsibility, and learn from your mistakes. And enjoy many years of online gaming without being trapped

If someone gets scammed it's their fault for trusting the person. There aren't many people you can even trust these days. I'm a casher, but I'm sure if I did something against the rules in R2 I would get the same punishment as anyone else doing anything bad like I was. (This is an example)

People call each other scammers all the time for many reasons , could be as simple as being jelly or the other played killed you in an event.
So don't expect R2 to just take your work for it, screen shots work much better
